The Smart Asset Management solution relies on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology to raise the level of sophistication and responsiveness of the teams' work

Nextbitt, the market leader in asset management and sustainability, launches today an innovative and pioneering solution to revolutionize the way that companies and their employees deal with the global management of physical assets. Taking advantage of the most advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, as well as features such as speech recognition and cognitive search, the Smart Asset Management solution - S.A.M. - allows companies to streamline and automate their operation management processes with their respective maintenance teams.  S.A.M. is a Software as Service solution of the renowned platform for the management of physical assets and sustainability Nextbitt, which is based on Microsoft's cognitive algorithms and artificial intelligence of Open AI, responsible for ChatGPT.

With the S.A.M. solution operational teams will relegate to the past the screens, recording records or updating workflows, and will start using Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Telegram, or even voice, to trigger processes, question situations and receive information, in a much more agile and automated way. This solution is the result of Nextbitt's strategy of incorporating the most advanced technologies in its platform, putting them at the service of its customers' business.

Miguel Salgueiro, Founder & Partner of Nextbitt, says: "The presentation to the market of this new solution is a revolution in the way that business applications collect and update information, accelerating and dramatically simplifying the effort of physical asset management teams and sustainability, through an effective tool in the management of the operation.”

“S.A.M. can improve and develop decision trees, learning over time and ensuring increasingly assertive and effective responses and actions,” he adds.

Initially, the solution identifies the organisation’s type of business, in other words, whether it’s a bank institution, an industrial unit, or an entity from another sector. Based on this identification, a user from an organisation that has already implemented the solution can inform S.A.M. of a fault in its installations or equipment, from the air conditioning not cooling down, to the hydraulic press producing defective parts, or even a sudden increase in energy consumption at a certain time of day.

The S.A.M. solution will interact with the user by asking them questions so that it is possible to describe the situation and handle all the records in a 100% automatic and transparent way. Users do not need to enter directly into the platform, since S.A.M. can identify who they are, if they are duly authorised, and in what context (if they are employees, service providers, etc.).

"The incorporation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies in Nextbitt's solutions is part of our innovation strategy, to provide our users with smart, simple, and very usability-focused ecosystems," says Tiago Martins, Nextbitt's Engineering Manager.

To achieve this, Nextbitt has been developing a strategic partnership with Microsoft to be able to bring the most advanced technological solutions to its customers.
